Tragic Acid was created in San Francisco prior to Byallo's move to Berlin. It was made in the studio shared by Alland Byallo and Dead Seal (now known as Tone of Arc), a room that bred so many amazing tunes and good times. The importance of this wonderful space is doubled by the fact that it resides in the legendary Moulton Studios run by Chris Lum. These were wonderful times, and this music is especially dear to it's creator.

The original tune is a long tripping, psychedelic ride through. Chunky rhythms give way to swirling synth work and dubbed out guitar strums. While atmosphere reigns here, the energy is undeniable churning into a frenzy with a daunting, fat acidy bass and emotive leads. Sprinkle in Alland's simple vocal hook that seems to encapsulate the essence of those lovely times in San Francisco, the memory of the most creative space he has enjoyed in years. "Yesterday has burned away." Hasn't it though? Remixes are by Basic Soul Unit and Varoslav, and the digital version features a remix by our friend Gabbi Lopez.
